Now, more than ever, in our fast-paced world -- one that has become increasingly chaotic in recent years -- many are seeking balance, peace and direction.
Indigenous cultures, for hundreds of years, used ceremony for this purpose. Ceremony grounds people in their beliefs and sense of self, builds strong community ties and honors important milestones in individual’s lives.
Today, we can benefit from the native wisdom shared through the generations. Modern living doesn’t mean we can’t incorporate ancient practices for grounding, building deeper connections with our loved ones and celebrating our own successes.
Modern-day Ceremony for Finding Balance
I have been performing and studying ceremony for more than two decades, and I have experienced the powerful benefits ceremony has on individuals, a home and a community.
I’d like to share how you can use ceremony, often in small ways, in your own life to navigate these uncertain times during a special series of two-hour online workshops – Modern-day Ceremony for Finding Balance.
In these sessions, you’ll learn basic ceremonial practices used by people around the world to help stay centered day to day. You’ll also be introduced to the many tools you can use to support your ceremony. As part of a special guided journeys, you’ll have the chance to connect with the ceremonies of your ancestors, be introduced to your ceremonial guides, find the tools that you most resonate with and learn how you can apply those practices to your life today.
At the end of these sessions, you’ll have the knowledge, and inspiration, to create and begin practicing your own personal ceremonies for greater balance.
